On the 10th of October 2015, the Regent Association of Psychology Students (RAPS) organized a gym workout session aimed at promoting health-enhancing habits like weight management to increase cardiovascular health and boost the immune system.
The gym session took place at Lloyd’s Plaza located in McCarthy Hill. To our greatest surprise, the turnout was greater than expected, with students from other departments frantically participating.
Activities of the day included both aerobic and anaerobic exercises. The main session started with skipping, walking on the treadmill, among others to warm up. After which the real aerobic exercise started with workout music to add some fun to it.
Energy drinks and water were distributed to students to boost their energy level.
The day ended with students testifying about the fun, pleasure and health benefits derived, asking for the workout to be organized again!
